My great-grandmother was Maria Giannini. She was married to Pietro Cantoni. Pietro was from Aulla commune in Tuscany. I believe the frazione was Canova. That is about 1.5 hours north of Lucca. I don't know where Maria was originally from, but I suspect it was the same area. I haven't been able to track any of the Giannini relatives.
