I'm happy to reply to my own query that the names of my paternal grandmother's parents are Margaret Elizabeth Click Gheen and Matthew Newton Gheen. They were given me via an instant message from Carolyn Whitaker, along with an invitation to the Click reunion which I subsequently attended in East Tennessee and met a great number of cousins. Carolyn's and my common ancestor is Henry Jackson Click of Washington County, Tennessee, her 3th great grandfather, and my 4th great. I found out that my grandmother Ruth Gheen had been living with her parents in Sanger, Texas and had married my grandfather Hubert R. Long in Texas (and not Tennessee as I'd always assumed.) There were other Click and Gheen marriages, and Carolyn was looking for some of us descendents when she found my query. Now I am interested in sharing any information about Matthew Newton Gheen, born in Cocke Co. TN, died and buried in the early 1900's in Sanger, Texas.
