Ok, here it goes folks....first and foremost, Greetings! As I'm sure you have figured out, I am (and always have been) a Getchell. I was born and raised in Waterville Maine and currently reside in San Antonio, Texas working as a Police Officer. I have become increasingly curious about my ancestors and family history and have been wondering if we (The Getchell Family) ever had a Family Crest. If so, would any of ya'll (Ayuh, I said Ya'll) be interested in possibly emailing me a copy of anything you may have so I can provide some information to my kids. They too, have become increasingly curious about New England and what Role the Getchells played in it's developement. For those who are curious, I will provide this basic information...

Everett Lamont Getchell (Youngest Brother-alive and serving this great country in the United States Army. He is in Iraq for his third tour of duty so pray for his safe return).
