For right now all I need on William are his parents and dob if you have it. I have a whole bunch of Hollington's in the Syracuse, Onondaga Co, NY area on the 1930 census. They all state that they entered the US in 1892, including Charlotte Gervin, age 77, widow, living alone. I can find only one family in 1920 however and have tried the index with lots of wild cards. So between 1881 and 1930 I have found nothing. I have been unable to verify that they had a dau. Elizabeth or any other children. The family was scattered all over the city so finding them on the 1900 or 1910 censuses is like looking for a needle in a haystack. If you have other Gervin's in Syracuse I could look for info on them and hope that it leads me to William & Charlotte. (Charlotte was my 2nd great-grandaunt, she had a niece named for her, Charlotte T K Hollington for whom I am named)
