I'm glad to see there is a Gerrish Family Forum! I am descended from Joseph Gerrish (1791-1849) and Susan Hancock, through their daughter Susan Gerrish (married to Luther Cummings Bean). I don't have a lot of information on Joseph, although I have his lineage through his father, the Revolutionary soldier, Lt. Co. Henry Gerrish.I also don't have too much on Susan Hancock; I can only go back a couple generations on her. Any other descendants from this couple?
