Hi Marci;
I have heard of both but as yet have not been able to make the connection. The variations in the spelling of "Gerrish" are many and are causing problems.
I should be able to send some pictures of the stone to you in a few weeks.
My brother and I have hired a genealogist in England to trace William's father. We should be hearing from him again in a couple of weeks. We are still leaning heavily towards the William/Elizabeth line vs. the John/Ann line as we originally believed, but we want to be sure before we put any thing out in print. As soon as we have our ducks in a row I will send the info to you.
