The genealogylibrary.com site is excellent I think. Some searches are free although their is a fee for full access. Some recent editions of Family Tree Maker have included a year's subscription. What I like about this site is that the full text of over 1,000 genealogies is searchable on-line. It is really quite remarkable if you get a hit!
