Boarder Crossing Manifest - On Feb 16, 1949, William Leslie Gerow and his wife, Lillian Naomi & son, William James, crossed the border at Niagara Falls to visit his brother, Lorne N. Gerow, who lived at 173 1/2 Bartlett St., Rochester, NY. William & Lillian Gerow's address was listed as 1778 Peer St., Niagara Falls, ON. His relative was listed as Mrs. Peter Levoy of 288 Wellington St., Kingston, ON. (my note- this is Elizabeth, the sister of Alice Harris Sneath). The interesting part of this manifest was how William's name was listed, i.e.:
"William Leslie McGuire (adopted name), Gerow at birth". He was born on June 6, 1915 in Belleville, ON (Hastings Co.)
