Anna died Dec 5,1872 not 1822 (My error). Yes John is listed in the 1820 and 1830 Deerfield NY, and the 1840 Marcy NY Us Census's In addition Anna Gerow was listed in an 1850 Marcy Census living with Head of Household Solomon Gerow at which time she was 58 years old. The math makes sense.In the 1850 Census she was 58 and 79 in 1872 when she died. Again her tombstone says she was the wife of John and is buried in the cemetery section next to Solomon. I am not convinced at this time her maiden name was Birdsall. John Gerow(Giraud) was B: ca 1792. I would be interested in knowing if Johns brother Solomon had any doucmented family.
