If you're absolutely certain that Peter Petersen was born either in Schleswig or in Holstein, then you're mistaken about his having been born in the German state of Prussia, because, as I told you last time, until 1864, both Schleswig and Holstein belonged to Denmark.
If, on the other hand, you're absolutely certain that Peter Petersen was born in the German state of Prussia, then you're mistaken about his having been born in either Schleswig or Holstein, because, as I told you last time, Schleswig and Holstein did not become part of the German state of Prussia until 1867, when both territories were combined to form the Prussian province of Schleswig-Holstein.
