Thomas Peter Philipsen and Josephine (Unruh) and son Jurgen migrate from Flensburg to Hamburg to US in 1892. First stop is in Iowa with Peter Hartvig Jansen and Wilhelmina (Unruh), then to Snohomish County in Washington state. Looking for any relatives or descendants in Flensburg or Broacker (Broager). And who were their parents? My grandparents, Jens Carl Nissen and Christine (Unruh) followed in 1899 from Broacker (Broager) to Hambnurg to US to Iowa to Washington. Trying to find family in Germany.
