I need help! I have been researching my husband's family and I'm stuck. I don't know how to look into German records and find the info I need. My husbands family name is Berliner (of course I'm sure the spelling has been changed). On all census records his gggrandfather list that he was born in Oldenburg, Germany 1852. He came to America in 1877, never naturlized. I can't seem to find my way into birth records, land records anything for that period in Oldenburg, Germany. Can someone help guide me. Or does anyone recognize that last name.
