I am now just finding this site! I am also looking for Jaeger. They settled in Michigan and also Fond du Lac Wisconsin. Opened bakeries . Names that come to mind are Bruno, Oswald,Johann,Gustav,Helen,Laura,Bertha, Charles ,Clemmens.Came from all around this area of Germany, Austria, Prussia..
I am also trying to find the names-Pietsch, Kretschmer, Herrgesell and names that my husband's Grandmother's sisters married in Michigan.
