Kris, one of your problems is that you have misspelled the names of both towns. The one town is correctly spelled Lägerdorf, or if written without the "Umlaut" (two dots) over the "a", Laegerdorf. The other town is correctly spelling Dägeling, or if written without the "Umlaut" over the "a", Daegeling. Lägerdorf and Dägeling are both located in the District (in German: Kreis) of Steinburg in the southwestern part of the Holstein portion of today's German state of Schleswig-Holstein (capital: Kiel). A nearby city is Itzehoe. Lägerdorf is today a town of about 2800 people, Dägeling a village of about 900 people. They're about 3 miles apart. Are you aware that until 1864, both Schleswig and Holstein belonged to Denmark? Robert Notify Administrator about this message?
