Max Sieverts BARTELS and Elizabeth KROGER, both DOB ~1830, married in 1848 in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein. They had children Peter Henry, John Henry, Katherine, Margret, Henry Hanson, Heinrick William and two others who died in infancy. John Henry and Heinrick William emigrated to the US circa 1890 and settled in Indiana. Associated families are SPRECHT, ZARNDT, WITT, BISS and SASS.
