Parish & Civil records Dresden

Can anyone tell me if any Parish and Civil records managed to survive the boming of Dresden in WW2? If so where might they be held now?

I live in Australia and am trying to research my Schedlich family roots. Carl Gottfried Schedlich was a merchant in Dresden and was living in the Aldstadt in 1821 when his son Carl Gustav Schedlich was born. By about 1827 the family had moved to the Neustadt.

Carl Gottfried Schedlich's only brother, (Christian names unknown)lived in Saxon Switzerland and owned the land where the "Bastei" stands. He sold this land to the Government who built a hotel there and part of the purchase price was that he was given a 20 year rent free lease of this hotel.

Carl Gottfried Schedlich died in the 1840's and his brother died around 1834.

Any help on the location of any surviving Parish records, or this family would be greatly appreciated. Trish L.
