It is suggested that the middle name, Marquis, indicates nobility, but unable to find any information regarding.
George & Dorothea are my great-great grandparents, arrived in US 11-21-1853 aboard the USS Hampden; I've been able to pick up all information after their arrival, just need the Germany information. appreciate
