Hi Claudia,
I found this link 'cause some one started asking about Gerrit Jan Scheffer. Gerrit Jan Scheffer is my great-great grandad. How nice to see that you are looking for your familytree in the same period as I started that.
I could find information of our family way back to 1780.
I never looked at more information on Gerrit Jan Scheffer because (you will probably recognize this) I was first looking to find as much as possible from the past.
The information I already had in hands tells me about his second wife Sibilla.
In can give you so much more information about your familytree. Most of the relitives lived in a small town called Hattem in the netherlands.
