Henry Strohmeyer - (c. 1795) m. Charlotte - arrived in US in 23 Oct. 1857 from Hanover
Ernst Strohmeyer - (c. 1826)
Fred Strohmeyer - (c. 1830)
- arrived in US 15 Jan 1851 from Herstielt, Prussia...
Henry Strohmeyer - (c. 1836)
- arrived in US 15 Jan 1851
We believe Louise Kelfeker was married to Henry and then later to Fred after Henry passed.... She arrived in June 1853 from the North Sea port of Hooksiel, Wangerland, Germany,
Sophie Strohmeyer - (c. 1837)
- arrived in US with parents on 23 Oct. 1857 from Hanover
Does anyone know where Herstielt, Prussia is? Are there any records available for this area? Also, I cannot find any LDS records for Hooksiel. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated! The gentleman I am assisting is in his 80's and cannot see too well with degenerative eye disease.
