I'm living 5 kilometres from Kirburg and found your questions very interessting.

I will give you some informations about the villages and the location here. Some are in German, sorry. Use "" to translation.

All villages you mentioned are in the same area, called Westerwald. (Has English version :-))

Unnau (I'm sure that Unnau is meaned, not Unna!)

The website of the village Flammersfeld:

Click left "Geschichte" scroll down until "Alte Schule Flammersfeld" and read about your ancestors:

"Von 1714 bis 1734 war Johann Conrad Iskenius, Sohn des Flammersfelder Pfarrers Iskenius als Schulmeister tätig."
Source should be a local book named "900 Jahre Flammersfeld".
If you like, I can try to find out if this book would be interessting for you and if it is availble. Otherwise, if there is someone who has researched the villagestory in archives and may be know more where to find informations about your family.

Do you know this page? No. 138 is your family:

And there are living people with name "Isenikus" around Flammersfeld until now. (tip in: ISKENIUS and FLAMMERSFELD and you will see) (Died soldiers in WWI.)
