The locations Kamlau and Bohlschau (both in county of Neustadt, province of West Prussia) are nowadays Keblowo and Bolszewo in woiwodship Pomorskie in Poland. Protestantic and catholic parish registers are available at least back to the 18th century. It should be possible to clarify the identity of Jacob Christopher (born either in Kamlau or in Bohlschau) by checking the parish registers. What was his confession, protestantic?

Best regards
Th. Poehlmann
