I'm Looking for help to find a surname and any information about my KOWALD family from PRUSSIA.
They live in what is now called 'Zawade' 6km north of Zelona Gregora, Poland (old Gruenburg,Prussia).
Gottfried KOWALD b.c1780-1790 died c1841
married: c1810
Anna Rosina ... (unknown surname) born. c1790 Silesia,Prussia. died 13th April 1871 Blumberg (birdwood), South Australia.

(3) Catherina Elizabeth KOBALT/COBALT/KOWERT/KOWART/KOWERD (KOWALD) m: Johann Heinrich RUWE
Gottfried KOWALD & his 2 known sons were in the military (Prussian army).
Gottfried KOWALD died from as the family were leaving Prussia (he was beaten and put under heavy stress because he opposed king wilhelm III, and finally suffered a heart attack).(The family was on their way to America, but when Gottfried died, sons Friederich & Johann Christoph changed the family plans and they emmigrated to South Australia).
LOOKING FOR;

(b) Anna Rosina's surname
(c) If the other KOWALD's are closely connected
(d) more history back further on Gottfried & Anna Rosina (eg. Parents/ Brothers/sisters)
FACTS:
(a) Anna Rosina had 60+ known grandchildren & 280+ great grandchildren in Australia
(b) Most decendants have been traced
