PLEASE DONT tell me that i will get nowhere - i have 3 grandparents ancestors back to the 17th century(including Scandinavian ancestors on 1 side & French-Canadian ancestor's on my maternal grandparents side just from postings, the Family History Center,.Ancestry com(where I have a paid membership. etc.

You will get nowhere in your research until you acquire an very accurate knowledge of the history." - i am acquiring it in the Family History Center please do not be rude in your replies ( i cannot help how my German/Polish great grandparents mispronounced or incorrectlypelled their names & places of birth to census takers
