Thanks for the reply and straightening me out. My church book record reads 'Lubtheen.' I can't put in the umlat over the u in Lubtheen on my computer keyboard. The church record states the different family baptisms: they lived in Garlitz, but went to the church in Lubtheen to get baptized. I did find out there were 2 Garlitz's, one in Mecklenburg Prov. and one in Brandenburg province. I used the Satelite images on the internet to find Lubtheen, where it said the geographical location for one was: Ludwigslust, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, Europe.
Ludwigslust is the administrative region. This geographical location was 53'18'0' North, 11'5'0'east
Then I found the 2nd Garlitz: 52, 57 latitude; 12.57 longitude.That would be the one in Brandenburg Province.
