Maleschefsky fr. Kl. Wolka to NY to Detroit, Michigan

My Grandfather was Otto MALESCHEFSKY. He was born in Prussia in 1887 and came to the US with his parents Frederich MALESCHEFSKY and Mary (KUSC) MALESCHEFSKY, and an older sister, Meine/Minnie and settled in Detroit, Michigan. I'm trying to determine just where in Prussia they may have come from. On the ships manifest it gave their home as Kl. Wolka, (spelled exactly that way, with no diacriticals). I have tried searching, but find there are at least 2 Kl. Wolka's. I hope to determine which is the correct one, and after that is determined, to determine what parish they would have belonged to. According to the ship's manifest, they were Evangelische. They sailed on the ship Werra in May 1888, and were listed as "Walischefska". And they were NOT Polish. They were very anti-Polish, at least that is the information I got from my mother, who was Polish and had to endure their anti-Polish remarks after she married my father.
I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance. Thank You.
