I think i know where he gets his information. The church finally got back to me. Mary from Novo Mesto, Krain,Austria. Back in the late 1800's The district Gottschee spoke German and sometimes was a part of Germany. This territory, Carniola also had Croatians & Slovenians. I can't believe how every few years the boundary lines changed. Thanks for your interest oh Martin is also from Krain region
