Jahn family in Sehma/Annaberg early 1900's/late 1800's
Hi- I am trying to locate the family of my grandfather, Kurt Johannes Jahn who was born on 14 May 1904 either in Sehma or Annaberg. My grandfather emmigrated to the US in 1923 and was the only member of his family to leave Germany. I know that at the time my grandfather left Germany in 1923 he gave his families address as being Karlsbaderstrasse 56 in Sehma. His father was named Karl Jahn and his mother was Clara Suhnel.I know the names of 2 of Clara's siblings, Alma Suhnel and Paul Suhnel, both of whom emmigrated to the US in the early 1900's.I know that the maiden name of Clara's mother was Fritsche, but I do not know her first name. I have also been told that we are related to Adam Reis through the Suhnel side of the family.Clara was Karl's 2nd wife. I was told that my grandfather had 2 brothers that died in the war as well as several sisters, none of whom names I know. I was also told that at one time the Jahn family owned some type of factory and a restaurant. If anyone has any information or ideas I would really appreciate them.
Thanks-Karlene
