Thanks for your comment Robert T. , yes it is puzzling , the address was given to the German Red Cross by my mother in 1946 , she was trying to trace her brother Arnold Tenison , I believe that he may have been in the German army and that this may have a military connection , she may have mistakenly thought that Ostrow was in Estland , she claims to have left Estonia in 1938 aged 12 years old and arrived in Memel .
