Looking for information on my ancestors, JACOB BRAUN and MARTHA ELIZABETH WENZEL, both born in Hesse Cassel, maybe Eiterhagen, Germany in 1822 and 1825. Believe to have immigrated from Eiterhagen, Germany, thru Bremen arriving in Baltimore, MD on May 22, 1847. Jacob, a farmer, was 22 and Elisabeth, (her name was Wengel) was 25. Also an Elisabeth Braun, also 25 immigrated with them. I feel they are my ancestors. They married in Phila in 1847 and settled in Phila, opening a grinding business. Eleven children were produced. Other family names are Heinrich Braun, Conrad Braun, Martin Wenzel and Katie Bader. Reformed faith. Can any one help? Thanks much.
