Paul, in Germany, the word "evangelisch" simply means "Protestant", so Baptists are as much "evangelisch" as are Lutherans or Reformed.
It just so happens that Hessisch Lichtenau is one of the few towns in Germany where there is a German Baptist church, so it is very likely that Anna Elisabeth Sippel was Baptist before emigrating to America.Although never numerous, there have been Baptists in that area since the 1840s.They originally attended church in nearby Spangenberg. So maybe there would be information about Anna Elisabeth Sippel in their records. Here is the contact information (their Elder is man by the name of Rainer Jung):

Anna Elisabeth Sippel was of course born before there was a Baptist church in the area.So she was more likely than not baptized Lutheran, which of course is what most of the people in Hessisch Lichtenau are.So information about her parents would most likely be found in the Evangelical Lutheran church records.Information from those records can be obtained from the Archives of the Evangelical Church of Electoral Hesse-Waldeck (Archiv der Evangelischen Kirche von Kurhessen-Waldeck).Here is the link to their website:

(Grossalmerode, by the way, is about 7 miles northeast of Hessisch Lichtenau.)
