Hi Everyone,

My name is Jennie. I am 24yrs old from America. My Great Great Grandmother was ANNA MAHLSTEDT born Feb 13, 1852 in Germany. According to her Marriage Certificate, it states that she was born in HANOVER. Her year of Immigration to the United States was 1872. She was naturalized in 1880.

I previously thought that she may have been born in Bremen because that is what is listed for her as well as her mother and father, on one of her children's death certificate. There seems to be no lead in Bremen. She most likely departed from Bremen.

She resided in Sonoma County Ca. She married my Great Great Grandfather John Ludeman in America. I also have a picture of some of her brothers but no names for them. I do not know whether or not they also came to America or stayed back in Germany. I also have a photo of her mother but no name either. I do however have a picture of her sister and her family. The photo was taken in Bremen.

I hope someone out there can help me. I'd like to know for sure where she comes from as well as her parents and siblings, birth record, baptism record, village, and I'd really like to know who my relative are today that are descendants as well.

Thank you in advance
