Fran, many Danes migrated south, mostly to the northern areas of Germany. And if born 1870s she may have been in the southern part of Denmark that was lost to Germany in 1864 and regained by Denmark in 1920. Even so, the Danish Online Archives have records from some parishes for those years.

What other details do you have, such as parents names or place names other than Hannover? Did she immigrate to USA? some of the later passenger lists include the specific place of origin.
