Wow, All the stuff I read indicated there was a town of Hanover and at one time a much larger district of Hannover. You are telling me something completely different.

Also, some of these names are not so common or not used. I happen to be looking for where the name might be used in Germany.

For those who would like me to be more specific:
John Reinhardt born abt: Oct 1815 married Catherine Lower born 3 Jan 1817

Charles Keck born Aug 1819 married Dorette/Doretta Frieda born Apr 1822

Albert Herting, born 3 Apr 1843 married Amelia Keck born 17 Sep 1849 Philadelphia,Pennsylvania

Ferdinand Deneke born 9 Mar 1834 Heidelberg married Augusta Keck born Mar 1842 Hanover Germany

I hope this will elicit a very fast response filled with good info. It is a bit depressing that the only time someone responds is to criticize the post.
