Am seeking information on the family of Heinrich Klatte who was born 28 Aug 1856 in Brokum (Hanover) and emigrated to the United States in the 1870s. He settled in Washington County, Texas after arriving through the port of Galveston. He married Charlotte Wilhelmine Henriette Lueckemeyer on 8 Dec 1881. She was born in Oppenwehde (Westfalen) 6 Dec 1860. Would someone have information on where there may be church records that would indicate the parentage of Heinrich or dates of baptism. He was Evangelisch. Heinrich was my wife's great grandfather.
