The church records in Badbergen, Hanover found that my Kiest family of Northbrook, Illinois started out with Juergen Warnefeld and "old Kust", who died in 1700, who's daughter apparently inherited the Kust Family farm and her husband was Garlich Oldenhage, who was born in Gross Mimmelage, a village near Badbergen. Their son, Johann Kust, born in 1653 at Vehs, also a village near Badbergen, was traced thru the years down to my great-grandfather. Is there anyone who belongs to these families that could add details to my story? Jean Kimball
