Surnames: Heise, Heidel, Jackson, Ahlborn, Albun, Schneider, Angerstein, Vogel, Kluefer, Kretzer, Muller, Winter, Hillebrecht, Ohnesorg, Von Roden, Meyer, Vogel, Rohrig, Rorich, Bottcher, Wegener, Schmidt, Thiele

Most of the information that follows pertaining to Anna Heise and her ancestors was received from the church records in the towns listed below. Some were transcribed from microfiche, hence the ?.....

Anna Maria Heise is my gggrandmother.
She immigrated in 1892 with her brother George F (Friedrich, listed below) Heise to Baltimore, MD.
She ended up as a servant in NYC where she met my gggrandfather, Wilhelm Heidel, from Frankenberg, Germany, when he was delivering bread to the house at which she worked. Anna and Wilhelm had many children, one of whom was my grandmother Anna Heidel Jackson, my mother/her daughter was Marjory Gilda Jackson.

Her parents were George Zacharias Friedrich Wilhelm Heise (b. 2/1/1853, d. 5/9/1907, in Marienstein, Germ, in Hannover) m. on 4/11/1875 in Angerstein to Lina Sophie Caroline Ahlborn (have also seen Albun)(b. 7/4/1857, d. ). Lina Sophie’s parents were Wilhelm Ahlborn (Angerstein) and Caroline Schneider. The above Heise was a shoemaker and a farmer at death.
Children: 1) Dorothea Anna Marianna Marie (my gggm) b. 12/12/1878 Marienstein, d. 11/23/1948 New Rochelle, NY, USA.
Godparents: wives Kuester & Kretzer & Anna Ahrens all of Marienstein and Hannover.
2) Heinrich Wilhelm George Frederich b. 10/13/1876 Marienstein, d. USA. May have married an Annaliese and worked for Disney as an illustrator. Lived in Brooklyn NY at the time of Anna’s wedding, NJ and California. He died sometime after1950. Godparents: worker Heinrich Heise, road guard called Kretzer at Marienstein, farmer Hermann Kluefer at Marienstein.
3) Marianna Christiane Karoline b. 2/15/1881 Marienstein, d. .
Godparents: wives Marianne Kretzer born Heise, Christiane Muller born Winter, and unmarried Karoline Hillebrecht all from Marienstein.
4)Heinrich Ernst August, b. 8/15/1884 Marienstein, d.
Godparents: Heinrich Heise Mayor and widower of Marienstein, shoemaker Ernst Heise bachelor Marienstein, and former road guard August Ohnesorg Marienstein.

George Zacharias Friedrich Wilhelm Heise b. 2/1/1853 was son to
Johann Heinrich Christian Ludwig Heise b. 6/1/1820, Marienstein (Norten church record) d. 10/20/1899 Marienstein/Parenson
m. 4/24/1848
Sophie Caroline Henriette Vogel b. 5/25/1818 Marienstein d. 12/11/1868 Marienstein. Her parents were Christoph Vogel d. 2/22/1848 & Johanne Christine Wilhelmine Von Roden d. 1/3/1845.
George Heise b. 1853 was the mayor of Marienstein at one time.
Children: George Zacharias Friedrich William (above)
Godparents: Steinhauer Zacharias Meyer in Druber, tobacco worker George Heise at Marienstein, and Mason Friedrich Wilhelm Vogel at Marienstein.

Johann Heinrich Christian Ludwig Heise b. 6/1/1820 was son to
Johann Christian Friedrich Heise b. 5/28/1794 Sudershausen (according to Norten death note) d. 1/7/1839
m. 4/12/1819 Norten – Marienstien
Johanna Dorothea Christina Rohrig (Rorich) b. 2/9/1798 Norten-Marienstein, d. after 1852. Her parents were Johann Christian Rorich and Johanne Marie Elisabeth Bottcher.
Children: 1) Johann Heinrich Christian Ludwig Heise b. 6/1/1820 (above)
2) Johann Friedrich Hartwig b. 10/5/1824
3) George Heinrich Wilhelm b. 1/22/1827; m. Wilhelmina Frederika Wegener b. 1826
children: Johanna Ulricka(?) Augusta b. 3/30/1867
Ida Albertine Carolina b. 1870
4) Johanne Caroline Georgine Charlotte b. 3/8/1830 d. 7/30/1839
5) Johann Heinrich Ludewig b. 11/10/1832
6) Marie Christine b. 8/6/1836 d. 1/13/1840

Johann Christian Friedrich Heise b. 5/28/1794 was son to
Johann Caspar Heise b. d. 11/11/1814
m. Catrine (Catherine) Lisabeth (Elisabeth) Cloth (Gloth) b. 5/10/1762 Sudershausen d. 1823. Her parents were Johann Heinrich Cloth (Gloth) and Anna Elisabeth Schmidt (noted on her birth notice).
Children: Johanne Christian Friedrich Heise b. 5/28/1794 d. 1/7/1839 both in Norten.
Godparents: Christian Heisen’s wife; Johan Thiele, Heinrich Claus Thielen’s youngest son; Marie Lisebeth Heisen, Stoffel Heisen’s senioris’ daughter (her mom took her place).
