Hello Robert, thank you for your message on my Bornholtz family. Would you happen to know where they did come from in Germany? I think you're right about the port of their ship on the way to NY. I have no other info on them, only where they lived in NY and that my paternal grandmother was the youngest and her mom died shortly after her birth.
