Hi, I am searching for information on my Great-Grandmother Anna Christine Hartig born:1872 in Bremen or Bremerhaven?, Germany. The family story says that she came to America when she was about 12 years old and was met on the dock by her sister and brother-in law.(no names ever given for this pair.) This may have been in about 1884 or so. My grandmother never knew what port or what ship this happened on. I have no information on her parent's or siblings. I do know that she married William George Washington Miller on 23 Oct. 1899. I would be so greatful for any information anyone can help me with.
