My grandfather was born in 1842. According to census records he came from Hanover, Germany. He immigrated with his parents in 1848 and lived in St. Louis for a year before moving to Benton County Missouri. In later years he moved to Henderson, MN where he lived until 1904.
I am trying to find the names of his parents. Also would like to know where in Benton County he first resided.
