Audrey; Thanks for the title of the book______I will try to look it up on the internet, or go to my local historical society and see if they can lend a copy. I can't believe how many books have been published on different lines in my family, between my mother and dad's ancestors. It sure would be neat to be able to own them. I do have two of them, but there are at least 14 others out there, that probably are impossible to obtain. After I posted my last message, I re-read what either you or someone else wrote, and that is the fact that evidently John and Rachel were married in Jefferson Co.,Ky. Is that what you have? I would like to know where they were before then; I had assumed they were married further back east, as that part of Kentucky was not very settled yet in the late 1700's. They are my 3 greats grandparents. My line; John and Rachel Rice Gerkin Samuel Gerkin and Philura Harding Anna Gerkin and Levi Barnes Mary Jane Barnes and Levi Terrell Emily Louise Terrell and William Fields Penny Fields Gardner (me) pfg
