I have finished a new public webpage which is linked on the New Gearhart Research Center of Nancy Gayheart Website. Herb Gayheart and myself have spent much time in the past,in research, searching for a possible ancestor who probably was a hessian soldier..meaning they served for the british in the Revolutionary War. Family Legend by both Herb's father, they were hessian soldiers and a Gayheart cousin of mine in Knott Co.who heard the same,in Knott Co.Ky that our ancestors were hessian soldiers and served under the british. Adam Gearheart,Sr and John Gearheart,Sr Genealogy of SW Virginia and Eastern Ky I have created this webpage with the list of soldiers of Gerhardt and spelling variations,Gerhard, Gebhard, found in research so far, from the volumes of Hetrina Other names will be on the list as well This may be of help to others researching their ancestors I hope that will be so too. Herb and I both have worked on hessian soldiers,we want to know who they were, maybe the answers will come and help us all. Gearhart Research Center http://nancygayheart.com/researchcenter.htm link is there for hessian soldiers webpage. I have many more records to post to the Gearhart Research Center,so stop by for more updates as well Nancy Gayheart Notify Administrator about this message?
