Geren/Geering/Gearing and Hill Marietta Ohio

I was looking through the 1820 and 1830 census for Washington County, Ohio; Marietta township.

In the 1820 census, I found:
Samuel Geering and Joseph Geering

Also a John Hill and James Hill. The Hills and Geren/Geering/Gearing families have a few marriages between them.

In the 1830 census, I found:
Benj. Gearing and Samuel Gearing

The ages of the children match the Gerens that I show in my contacts with others.

Is this Geering and Gearing the same Gerens?

The names I have are Samuel, Benjamin, Joseph, Irenius and others.
