Elizabeth Newald Gerber, 75, of Palm Springs, CA died Jan. 9, 2004, at home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1928, to Edward Newald and Amy Taylor Newald in New York City.
She married Myron D. on Jan. 18, 1948, in Washington, D.C.
She owned and operated two fashion boutiques in Washington, D.C., and Aspen, Colo.
She is survived by her husband, Myron D. of Bethesda, Md.; five sons, Gregory P. of Palm Springs, Scott of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Rick of Clifton, Va., Gary of Potomac, Md., and Clifford of Portland, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.
Celebration of life services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Huneke home in Palm Springs.
Inurnment will be private with Wiefels & Son Funeral Directors of Palm Springs in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests a donation be made to a charity of choice.
