Rev. John had a son, John, Jr.(born 1744), who married a Susannah Van Meter (born 1750). Have you tried tracing the maternal line? You might find more info out there on the Van Meter's - sounds like they may have intermarried on a couple of occasions. Otherwise, no, I have no information on the generation preceeding Rev. John. Sorry.
