My husband and I both have a Gerard (Garrard)ancestor and I'm trying to find any connection. Both Gerrards were in the Miami Valley area of Ohio in the late 1700's, early 1800's. I have Elias Gerard b. abt. 1730 in PA., married Rachel UNK. Their son John, b. 1756 married Rebecca Van Metre b. abt. 1753. Does anyone know anything about any of these people and their linage?
