Thomas Lilly White, Sr
Birth:        unknown
Death:        Feb. 21, 1803

Thomas and his oldest son, Thomas Jr. both served in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina. They stayed in North Carolina until about 1792, when they moved to the Natchez District, in what is now Claiborne Co. Miss., which he acquired through Rev. War grants and purchases. Thomas Sr. served on the first panel of jurors in Claiborne Co. in 1802. He was a commissioner who helped purchase land for the first courthouse. According to on line sources, his wife was Margaret. Here is a list of the children who were in his will:

4. Reuben White b 1761
5. Lucy White Angle b 1762
6. Joseph White b 1764
7. Rachel White Parks Larkin b 1766
8. Mildred White Hightower b 1768
9. Susannah White Henson b 1770
9. Agnes White Simpson b 1772
10. Urstley White Baker b ?

Both Thomas Sr, and Thomas Jr are buried on White family land, although no one knows exactly where the graves are. The land is said to be in Port Gibson. Thomas Jr has a memorial stone in Wintergreen Cemetery.
