Travis,
I know this message is a bit old, but Absalom Jackson was my ggggg-grandfather.In his will dated 1838 in Chambers County, AL, he asks "Hideon and Richard Moore" to help his wife while she is a widow.I've seen people list Hideon, or Iddings, Moore and Richard as twins whose parents were Joseph Iddings Moore and Jane Jackson.Do you have any proof of their mother being a Jackson?I'm gathering from this info, that Absalom could have been Hideon and Richard's uncle if that's the case?Absalom's only heirs were 6 daughters and his wife Abigail, all moved to the Chambers and Tallapoosa County area of Alabama.
I'm trying to locate Absalom's family. There are quite a few Jackson's with the name Absalom. Also, could he be related to these Jackson's who settled in Wrightsborough, GA?
