Thanks for responding. I have suspected for some time that my MIDDLEBROOKS may have an Alabama connection, but I haven't been able to place anyone there yet. I may need to look into this Jennie MIDDLEBROOKS. I printed your response and will keep it in my records. MIDDLEBROOKS is my maternal line, and I have lots of info on them. If you find a connection here in GA for your MIDDLEBROOKS (or anyone) let me know. Also, if you need anything from the archives here in GA I'd be happy to assist. By the way, I have BREWER ancestors who were born in GA, but I believed they lived in MS for a while with their slaveowner. A place called Black Hawk, MS. Just throwing it out, you never know.
