My father, John Thomas Netherow, is 84 years old. He was born March 9, 1924. It was his father (John Netherow)was one of the brothers who had the feud over property bought. The other brother is the one who dropped the W from the Netherow name. My brother, James Thomas Netherow who now lives in Georgia was contacted by a John Nethero from Florida regarding the genealogy of the Netherow & Nethero name. My father and brother are the only two men carrying the Nehterow name in the United States that we know of. My brother does not have any children, he is 61 years old (born January 10, 1947). My name is Barbara Jo Netherow Sharp and was born on March 17, 1948. I also have a sister Delores Ann Netherow Thorpe born on May 31, 1949, and a sister Lu Ann Netherow Nichols born on April 30, 1962. Our brother never married, but my sisters & I are and we all have children. We would like to have all of our names & birthdates listed with the Nethero/Netherow Geealogy. I do know that the Netherow name came from the Niederhauer (?) name from Baden-Baden, Germany many years ago. We have many relatives who are "Netherow's" but carry different last names as they are married. I'm very intereseted in learning more about the Nethero/Netherow history. My father and sisters & I all live in Iowa.
