I am looking for a photo copy of the War of 1812 Pension Records request of James Hewitt who was born: 1790 In Spartanburg, South Carolina and was married to Elizabeth Allen who was born: 1794 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. James Hewitt is the son of John Hewitt born: 1722 in Virginia and married Elender (last name unknown). James Hewitt may have filed in Gordon County, Georgia but he was in the military and the war of 1812 in South Carolina. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated, even tell me how I can obtain a photo copy of the information. Typed copies are not acceptable, photo copies only. My e-mail address is: Lonnie1O@aol.com (Lonnie Numeral 1 capital O - not numeral 1 numeral 0). Thank you for your help and assistance in advance.
